Many
people look forward to Thanksgiving dinner – turkey, dressing,
cranberry sauce, sweet potato casserole and so much more. However, if
this isn’t your cup of tea or you’re spending time away from
family this holiday, know that several fast food places and
restaurants have your back and will be open on Thanksgiving Day.
Applebee’s
Applebee’s
will also stay open on Thanksgiving Day for customers to enjoy their
Boneless Wings, Brew Pub Pretzels and more. Be sure to call your
local restaurant to learn more.
Cracker
Barrel
If
you want a home-cooked-like meal, then Cracker Barrel is your go-to.
The restaurant has been opened every Thanksgiving since it opened in
1969. The food chain will start serving Thanksgiving dinner at 11
a.m. and is offered until closing. They will also do takeout meals.
Hooters
If
you enjoy Hooters, most locations will be open Thanksgiving Day to
serve your favorites (wings, for instance). You can also watch any
football game on any one of its dozen TV screens.
IHOP
IHOP
is similar to Waffle House, in that it never closes down. You can
enjoy any dish on the menu – breakfast or lunch – on this special
day.
Popeye’s
There
will be some Popeye’s locations that will open their doors on
Thanksgiving Day. They’ll offer its crazed Spicy Chicken Sandwich
along with Cajun Style Turkeys, precooked and seasoned. You’ll need
to check out your local Popeye’s to see if yours will be open that
day and what times.
Starbucks
If
you love the flavor of pumpkin and coffee, Starbucks will be open for
you to get your fill. While Starbucks’ hours vary from one location
to another, the light hours shouldn’t dissuade you from checking
out their offerings – Peppermint Mocha Latte, Pumpkin Space Latte,
etc.
Subway
If
your goal is to eat healthy on Thanksgiving Day, Subway has you
covered. Many Subway locations around the nation will open their
doors to give you the “Eat Fresh” open. Make sure you reach out
to your local Subway to see if they’re participating.
Waffle
House
This
is a restaurant that never shuts down. Based in Georgia, the company
will remain open Thanksgiving Day and will offer some of the
not-so-known menu items from its secret menu.
