Despite
renovating for seven months, the Hearthstone Bakery Café in San
Antonio is shutting down its Forum location and moving into the old
Crumpets Restaurant and Bakery along Harry Wurzbach Road.
Hearthstone
purchased the building and lot of the 38-year-old company in
September. Based on the tentative plans, the bakery café will open
the first week in April and be open as an option for breakfast, lunch
and snack.
According to Hearthstone’s social media page, the company is closing its Forum location along Olympia Parkway March 20. However, the employees would be transferred to the new location. The post thanked everybody for their support the last two years and asked them to visit them at the new restaurant location. The post continued, saying it would be the same staff, same Hearthstone but in another location.
The
Olmos Park Hearthstone location was not affected by the move.
The
restaurant is opened Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and
weekends, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
