Diverso Syrah is sourced from a vineyard never treated with any chemicals, there are no sulfites to the wine, and it is unfiltered, with an ecological label and bottle. A wine that will blow your mind and reconfigure your perspective on Argentine wine. Matias is one of the three brothers who run the Zorzai Winery in Gualtallary, Lauded as Argentina's winery of the year for 2012. Demente Tupungato is produced with fruit from eight different vineyards in Gualtallary at different altitudes with different soils. It was co fermented with four Malbec and four Cabernet Franc, harvested over 40 days, and grapes were added to the fermenting tank, so the fermentation started and stopped as new grapes were added to the fermenting vat. | |

The cuisine, says manager John Angrisani, is "New American," a lighter version of French fare.

Diners may choose at any time the Chef's Tasting Menu ($85 per person), in which the whole table is offered a five-course meal prepared by the chef.

To start off, appetizers such as goat cheese spanakopita, duck wontons served with hoisin sauce and crab bites give the diner distinct tastes and textures.

If you would like to taste an unusually good salad, the one to try is the Maine lobster, goat cheese and grilled asparagus crepe.

For entrees, the 12-hour baby-back ribs and the grilled halibut are great selections.

The grilled halibut is served with crispy polenta, French string beans and shrimp étouffée.

Another entree that should be ordered is the Long Island duck, prepared two ways crispy breast and confit-style leg.
