Bonchon Korean Restaurant Finally Opens Doors For Seattle Customers

Seattle
restaurant patrons have their choice of yet another kind of cuisine.
Bonchon
has finally opened the First Hill restaurant and is bringing Korean
fried chicken to the area. Hours are limited, and its menu is small,
but still fans of Korean food are not being stopped to try the pork
buns, bibimbap, rice cakes, drumsticks and more.
There’s
been no talk of when the hours will be extended, and a full menu will
be unveiled, but still, people are flocking to Bonchon, which first
began in South Korea in 2002.
The
restaurant’s Seattle location was teased in January 2018, with a
Facebook page of the 554 Broadway location posting tasty food
pictures without any talk of when it would open up. Bonhon fans have
been expressing their disappointment in comments, especially when it
came to when the restaurant would open.
The fast-casual restaurant has about 200 franchises throughout the world including Hawaii, New York and Texas. It features an array of fried chicken dishes as well as other foods such as fish cakes, pork buns, rice cakes, Korean tacos, udon soup and takoyaki.
